Room/apartment transfers can be arranged by contacting UC housing. Residents are advised to inform both UC and CP Cincy staff in the event of a room swap within the apartment.

General Questions

CP Cincy provides a range of amenities, including cardio and weight rooms, communal lounge areas, study spaces, a clubhouse with a pool table and coffee bar, free printing, an outdoor half-court basketball court, a secure garage, and a courtyard with a pool and grill. Regular social events are organized to foster community among residents.

CP Cincy offers fully furnished apartments, featuring bedroom furniture (bedframe, full-sized mattress, 4-drawer stackable dresser, desk & chair, and a spacious closet), common area furnishings (sofa, arm chair, coffee table, side table, media table, barstools), and full-sized kitchen appliances (refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, garbage disposal).

While we provide residents with essential furnishings and appliances, we encourage them to bring personal items such as textiles, cooking utensils, countertop appliances, and decorations. Open communication with roommates is encouraged for coordinating shared items.

Yes, residents have the option to secure their bedspace from the rest of the apartment using their designated bedroom key, accessible only to the assigned resident.

Residents can submit maintenance requests via the resident online portal, by phone during business hours, or in person at the leasing office. For after-hours maintenance emergencies, residents can contact the maintenance on-call line. Maintenance requests are addressed in the order they are received, typically within 24 hours.

Emergency maintenance requests include floods, leaks, unsecured apartments, HVAC malfunctions affecting comfort when outside temperature are above 80 degrees or below 50 degrees, power outages, and significant plumbing issues with apartments with one toilet. Unsure, always call maintenance on-call and leave a message.

CP Cincy prioritizes resident security with key fob access to the building, supplemented by onsite presence of a Cincinnati District 2 Police Officer available 24/7. Security cameras are strategically positioned throughout the property, including the parking garage.

CP Cincy is conveniently located just an 11-minute walk or a 5-minute drive/bike ride from the University of Cincinnati campus.

Two UC shuttles operate with pickups on the corner of CP Cincy approximately every 15 minutes, providing convenient transportation to campus.

CP Cincy welcomes pets, subject to our policy. Residents may have pets upon payment of a nonrefundable deposit and monthly pet rent. CP Cincy is a pet friendly apartment complex! Ay resident can choose to have a pet if they wish. There is a pet nonrefundable deposit of $300, and a pet rent of $25/mo. All dog breeds under 60lbs are accepted. If a pet is an ESA or service dog, then no fees will be charged. However, a letter from a doctor is required to prove that an animal is a service dog or ESA.

The University of Cincinnati is only an 11-minute walk away from CP Cincy! If you drive or ride a bike, it’s closer to 5 minutes away.

Yes! The shuttle picks up right in front of CP Cincy. It runs about every 15 minutes. 

There is an officer on site who is on-call 24/7. 

Yes! CP Cincy offers many luxury amenities, including a resort-style pool. 

Book & Ladder requires each Resident to maintain Renters Insurance. Renters Insurance may be acquired from the approved carrier for the property or with proof from a third-party carrier. Proof would be considered as providing a Declaration Page from your Insurance Company or a Certificate of insurance provided by the provider. You must have the community’s legal name listed as an additional interest. Proof of Insurance will be required before the day of move-in. Book & Ladder requires all new and renewing residents to have a Renters Insurance policy with a minimum liability limit of $100,000.
